
William E. Hopkins, Jr.

Mr. Hopkins was born in Bishopville, South Carolina on November 10, 1966. He graduated from North Carolina State University in 1988 and received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1993 from the University of South Carolina School of Law. His practice primarily includes representing plaintiffs involved in personal injury, catastrophic injuries, class actions, products liability, pharmaceutical, employment, insurance and consumer fraud, complex business litigation and civil rights. Mr. Hopkins handles civil cases in the state and federal courts throughout South Carolina. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, where he has served in the House of Delegates (2000-2002), the Conventions Committee (1999-2005, 2009-current), and the Professional Responsibility Committee (2001-2006, 2009-current). Additionally, he is a member of the Richland County Bar, the American Association for Justice, the South Carolina Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association and the Southern Trial Lawyers Association.

Susan F. Campbell

Ms. Campbell was born in Florence, South Carolina on June 25, 1975. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1999 (Dean's List) and received her law degree from the University of South Carolina Law School in 2002 (Dean's List). She received the CALI award in Family Law. She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar, the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina and the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Judicial Circuit in 2002. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States in 2005. Ms. Campbell is a member of the Richland County Bar, the South Carolina Bar and the American Bar Association. Ms. Campbell has experience in handling the following matters: personal injury, construction litigation, class actions, products liability, consumer fraud, complex business litigation, and commercial real estate.

Thomas E. McCutchen
Thomas English McCutchen, Jr. received his AB degree from the University of South Carolina in 1940 (magna cum laude). In 1941 he was admitted to the Bar by examination after one and one-half years in Law School. He then entered the Army Air Corps (later United States Air Force) in 1941 and served as a pilot until he was discharged as a Major in 1945. He reentered Law School and received his LLB degree from the University of South Carolina in 1946. He began the practice of law in 1946 in Columbia, South Carolina. In 1948-49, he taught Business Law at the University of South Carolina. In 1949-50, he was an instructor at the University of South Carolina School of Law. In 1956 he became a member of the Judicial Conference of the Fourth Circuit. In 1970 he was President of the Richland County Bar Association. Later he received the Williams Award from the Richland County Bar Association. He was a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and a member of the Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel. He was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers in 1972. He is listed in the publication "The Best Lawyers in America" under Business Litigation and Personal Injury and Civil Litigation (1995-96 edition - 2001-2002 edition). He was President of the Columbia Junior Chamber of Commerce, President of the Columbia Rotary Club, President of the South Carolina Mental Health Association and served for several years on the National Board and Executive Committee of the National Mental Health Association. He was special counsel for the State of South Carolina throughout the proceedings in the boundary case of Georgia v. South Carolina and argued that case in the Supreme Court of the United States (497 U.S. 376, 110 S.Ct. 2903). In 1992 the Law School of the University of South Carolina bestowed upon him the Compleat Lawyer Award.

Paul Deal

Mr. Deal was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on December 31, 1983. He is a Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude graduate of Furman University in 2006 and received his Juris Doctor degree in 2009 from the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, Mr. Deal was the articles editor for the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business and represented juveniles in family court through the Juvenile Justice Clinic. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar and United States District Court for the District of South Carolina in 2009. Mr. Deal is a member of the Richland County Bar, South Carolina Bar, the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the South Carolina Association for Justice. He is also an avid distance runner at the marathon, half-marathon, 10K and 5k distances.
