William E. Hopkins, Jr. 

Mr. Hopkins was born in Bishopville, South Carolina on November 10, 1966. He graduated from North Carolina State University in 1988 and received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1993 from the University of South Carolina School of Law.  His practice primarily includes representing plaintiffs involved in personal injury, catastrophic injuries, class actions, products liability, pharmaceutical, employment, insurance and consumer fraud, complex business litigation and civil rights.  Mr. Hopkins handles civil cases in the state and federal courts throughout South Carolina.  He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, where he has served in the House of Delegates (2000-2002), the Conventions Committee (1999-2005), and the Professional Responsibility Committee (2001-2006).  Additionally, he is a member of the Richland County Bar, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association.
